Paper Grades
Econo Weight - The Low Cost Solution:
Econo Weight is a lightweight waxed paper. Used where economy is the primary consideration. This sheet is used extensively for interleaving already frozen hamburger patties and breaded products. Econo Weight is not recommended for use in automatic forming equipment.
Econo Weight is available in some patty paper sizes, in custom size layer pack, and in rolls for roll feed machines.
Wet Strength:
Wet Strength is a medium weight waxed paper. This grade is especially useful in fresh applications where moisture from product to paper could be a problem. The wet strengthening agent along with this grade's excellent surface condition will allow the sheet to hold up well to moisture without tearing. Wet strength grade single sheet is also popular as a layer pack for already frozen products.
Wet Strength is available in patty paper sheets, custom size layer pack, and in rolls for roll feed machines.
Heavy Wet Strength:
Heavy Wet Strength is heavier in finished weight than our regular wet strength. This sheet has all the qualities of the wet strength, but due to its increased weight, it will out perform under tough conditions.
Heavy Wet Strength is available in patty paper sheets, custom size layer pack, and in rolls for roll feed machines.
Super Wet Strength:
Super Wet Strength is our heaviest of the wet strength sheets. It is absolutely the best single sheet patty paper available on the market today. This sheet is especially impressive when cut into large sizes where its weight creates the kind of rigidity that is needed in high speed automatic feeding.
Poly Coated Paper Board - Rigid Glossy or Matte:Two sides, top side is glossy, the underside has a matte finish, with F.D.A. approval. Used on various meat and bakery products, where rigidity is needed for layer packing. Available in custom size sheets only.
Bacon Layout Paper - Grease Guard:
Quilon Grease Resistant paper is used in a variety of applications from pork to crepes. Available in custom size sheets and rolls.
Silicone Parchment: Silicone Parchment is designed to carry fresh meats and dough products from the fresh or unbaked stage through freezing, thawing and cooking stages. Available in stock size patty paper, custom size layer pack, and rolls. Manual or automatic feed.
Performance: Maintains strength and resists tearing when wet. Readily releases from wet, tacky surfaces and frozen surfaces. Ovenable with flash point high enough to permit cooking.
Steak Paper: Steak Paper is a heavy duty paper with a high resistance to moisture and blood. Available in Pink, Green, and White colors to create an appealing look with your product. Available as a patty paper, or custom size layer pack.
Two-Ply Freezer:
Two-Ply is our most popular grade. Primarily used as a freezer paper. This grade offers two distinct advantages as a interleaver of frozen products. The two sheets create an air barrier which stops the transition of moisture from one patty to the next in a stack. This makes separation easier. The two ply's themselves will separate from each other when you snap a stack of frozen patties apart, leaving one sheet on each side of the stack. These sheets are then easily removed.
Two-Ply is used frequently in all kinds of applications, layer pack and cut size patty papers for machine feed. Framarx two ply offers the unique "total seal" which increases rigidity, eliminates curl and fluff, and delivers a really superior feeding sheet, even in very large sizes.
Two-Ply paper is available in patty paper sizes, custom size layer pack sheets, and in rolls for roll feed machines.
Wet Wax:
Wet Wax is a sheet specifically designed for tough interleaving problems. Wet wax has excellent release qualities for both fresh and frozen applications. This grade is available in custom size layer pack sheets and in rolls for roll feed systems.
Freezerwrap PRO - Heavy Weight 40/5:
Our heaviest Freezerwrap made from a 40 lb. wet strengthened, bleached paper with 5 ibs. of polyethylene coating. It provides excellent protection from freezer burn. Available in 15", 18", and 24" rolls and custom size sheets.
Freezerwrap POLAR - Medium Weight 36/5:
Our lightweight Freezerwrap made with 36 lb. wet strengthened, bleached paper with 5 lbs. of polyethylene coating.
Natural Freezerwrap - Medium Weight 36/5:
Our lightweight Freezerwrap made with 36lbs. wet strengthened, natural color freezer paper with 5 lbs. of polyethylene coating.
Paper Grades – Standard Paper Sizes and Custom Capabilities
Paper grades from Framarx/Waxstar come in a variety of strengths for various food service packaging requirements.
